Including a<br>skull cap, sweat bands for both safety helmets and hard hats, a safety helmet liner and two<br>cooling towels, this new category helps users stay cool while working in sunlight or in non-<br>ventilated areas.<br>     Hazardous heat exposure can occur indoors or outdoors and during any season, putting<br>millions of workers at risk for heat stress. Heat stress occurs when the body cannot effectively<br>cool down, causing the internal body temperature to rise, which can lead to illnesses such as heat<br>exhaustion or heat stroke. To build awareness of the hazards of heat stress and how to keep users<br>safe, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) launched a Heat Emphasis<br>program in April 2022. Using cooling measures, such as Milwaukee\u2019s new Cooling solutions,<br>can help mitigate heat stress from hazardous heat exposure.<br>     The new cooling towels and BOLT\u2122 accessories are quickly activated by running or<br>submerging under water, achieving full absorption in only 30 seconds. When activated, the heat<br>stress solutions wick away moisture and heat for up to four hours of cooling time, providing a<br>natural cooling sensation as the water evaporates.
