A lower luminance \u201ctransition zone\u201d further reduces the stark\ncontrast between the light and the dark sky. Compared to conventional LED\nstreet lights, ComfortView\u2019s optical system produces more comfortable\nillumination with significantly reduced glare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCities\nacross the country are strengthening and creating street light regulations that\nrequire lower levels of glare and light trespass,\u201d said Kenan Chen, Leotek\nProduct Manager. \u201cComfortView achieves these objectives and creates a more\npleasant neighborhood ambience while achieving the energy savings that\nmunicipalities need.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Communities\nare far more supportive of installing new street lights when the solution makes\nthem feel more comfortable while walking in their neighborhood or trying to\nsleep at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In\naddition to ComfortView\u2019s glare reduction technology, communities and\nmunicipalities can select from three different color temperatures, 2700K,\n3000K, and 4000K, and from four different specialized shields (House Side\nShield, Front Side Shield, Cul-de-sac Shield, and 80-degree Cutoff Shield),\neach designed to minimize light intrusion. ComfortView also complies with dark\nsky objectives set forth by the International Dark Sky Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>ComfortView\nalso supports municipalities\u2019 \u201csmart city\u201d efforts with an industry-standard\n7-pin photocell receptacle that allows a networked
