NEW YORK – AdvisorSmith, a leading information resource for small business owners, released a study on the best cities for electricians, ranking U.S. metros by how friendly they are for electricians.<\/p>\n

AdivsorSmith\u2019s study found: Median pay for electricians in the United States was $54,110 per year and $26.01 per hour; Trends driving growth in electrician jobs include adoption of solar power, battery storage, and electric vehicles; There were approximately 666,900 electrician jobs in 2016, and the number of jobs is projected to grow by 9% over the period from 2016 \u2013 2026 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.<\/p>\n

The factors used to rank cities in this study include: Average electrician pay; The cost of living index for each city; Concentration of electrician jobs relative to a city\u2019s population.<\/p>\n
